In Malaysia we have Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) to ensure the safety, health and welfare of people at work.

Each machinery lay or installed at work site is compulsory to obtain installation and operation permit from DOSH which include manned and unmanned machine. E.g. Elevator, Walkalator, Escalator, Hoist, Overhead Crane, Boiler, Pressure Vessel, etc.
