Nursing Home – Growing Number of Elderly People in Malaysia

In Malaysia, there is a growing number of elderly people in need of good nursing care. Between 2010 and 2040, Malaysians aged 65 years and above are projected to increase to more than three folds of the 2010 population.

According to the state’s Statistic’s Department, this increase will lead the country to become an ageing population in 2021 when citizens aged 65 years and over will reach 7.1 percent, which may lead to the construction of Nursing Homes Malaysia in the near future.
