SKYLARK MALAYSIA Queensbay Mall PROJECT

Skylark Group’s SKYLARK MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. has opened a “Shabu-Yo” restaurant at Queensbay Mall in Penang. This marks their sixth project in Malaysia and their first venture into Penang.

Role of Plus PM Consultant Sdn. Bhd.

Plus PM Consultant Sdn. Bhd. has previously managed projects at Sunway Velocity Mall, Sunway Pyramid Mall, Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC), Setia City Mall, and AEON Mall Tebrau City. For this project, they provided design supervision, regulatory checks, negotiation of handover conditions with the shopping mall, cost reduction through bidding, and support in drafting construction contracts.

This project marks Skylark Group’s first store in Penang. Plus PM Consultant Sdn. Bhd. ensured thorough quality and schedule management, along with comprehensive support including assistance in obtaining business licenses to ensure smooth business operations.

Project Characteristics

• First Entry into Penang: This is the sixth store by Skylark Group's SKYLARK MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Malaysia and their first in Penang.

• Remote Coordination: Due to the project's location in Penang, far from Kuala Lumpur, closer coordination with contractors and the mall was required.

• Design Supervision and Regulatory Checks: Adjustments of construction and responsibility divisions with the shopping mall, design supervision, and regulatory checks were conducted.

• Comprehensive Support: Provided comprehensive support including quality control, schedule management, and assistance in obtaining business licenses to ensure smooth operation.
