Hitachi Transport System New Cold Warehouse Project

This project is the first phase building of a new refrigerated warehouse by Hitachi Transport System(M) Sdn. Bhd., which is a Malaysian subsidiary of Hitachi Transport System, Ltd.. The factory was planned for the purpose of expanding the business in the field of “fresh, safe, accurate temperature-controlled food distribution” where the needs are expanding in Malaysia.

Plus PM participated in the project from the stage of Design Built contractor selection. This project required special performance as a distribution warehouse in freezing and refrigerating (having different temperature zones of -25°, ±0°, +5°, +15°), Plus PM managed this project with a special emphasis on quality control, and implemented and realized business operation in a short construction period.

Project Characteristics

• Quality control in construction for refrigerated warehouses with different temperature control in hot and humid Malaysia

• Developed an effective infrastructure plan in anticipation of future plans

• Progress management for government agency, infrastructure, construction schedule in order to realize business operation in a short period
