{"id":24262,"date":"2022-10-26T10:37:52","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T02:37:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.plus-pm.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=24262"},"modified":"2023-01-13T10:58:11","modified_gmt":"2023-01-13T02:58:11","slug":"groundbreaking-ceremony-for-project-alto","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.plus-pm.com\/en\/news\/groundbreaking-ceremony-for-project-alto\/","title":{"rendered":"Groundbreaking Ceremony for Project ALTO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Groundbreaking Ceremony for Project ALTO was held on the 13<sup>th<\/sup> of October 2022.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is conducted by a joint venture between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kwsp.gov.my\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Employees Provident Fund<\/a> (EPF) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alp.com.tw\/en\/property\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ally Logistic Property<\/a> (ALP) to unveil <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alp.com.tw\/en\/malaysia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ALP Bukit Raja OMega<\/a>, an international-scale smart warehouse at Bukit Raja Industrial Park, Selangor. ALP BR certainly raises expectations and anticipations upon the completion of OMega, which is designed to boost the nation\u2019s logistics industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>OMega is a multi-storey, automation built-in, and technology-integrated warehouse. Inspired by the futurism concept, OMega introduces a \u201cshared warehouse\u201d structure to offer a flexible rental plan to accommodate industry clients\u2019 business expansion. It has a world-class shared Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS\/RS) at its heart and separates clients and functions by floors. OMega creates an industry-specific cluster of suppliers and retailers in response to Malaysia\u2019s fast growing warehousing needs and vigorous development of digitalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>OMega will feature 1.8 million sqft in total area with an additional 100,000 pallets in the shared AS\/RS zone, making it an ideal destination for FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods), retailers and e-commerce platforms. In terms of operation, it can regulate and reduce the capacity differences between off-season and peak-season of multiple industries, and fully utilize equipment usage and labour force planning to reach maximum economic efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plus-pm.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Plus PM Consultant Sdn Bhd<\/a> as the Client representative manages our turnkey contractor, consultant and main contractor in terms of progress and safety improvement at site.
